Kia Ora, I hope you all had a good xmas and an even better New Years !!! Now that I have had a few days (months) of rest, I am looking at jumping back into it.
Firstly....auction sites. Who would of thought that there would be so many out there - certainly not me. I tried a few different ones just to see what they were like and I have found......... ??? Currently I am working on setting up a variety store on the auction site, but there's good news & bad news.
The good news - I'll be offering a "variety" of items and most of the items will be available to friends & readers of my blogs, no matter what country they happen to live in. There will be a couple of options on how you can pay. I am looking at getting Paypal set up on the auction site or will be open to swaps - anything that is easy for you to post to me.
The bad news - I am still a few days away from going online with it.
I am going to call it - Krazy Kelvin's Variety Store.
I'll be back.........
Footnote: I need more NZ Blogs & blogs from other countries that I can list, so leave me a comment. Once I get a chance, I'll be going thru and have a look at the blogs that are currently listed.

$1 Starting Bid - 5o Items Listed On Zillion
Kia Ora, Well I have got that job over and done....Finally ! My first ever attempt at selling on any auction site. I thought I would start off on one of the smaller sites first before moving on to the bigger fish. There were times, believe me when I didn't think I would get there.
My Zillion Blog is the only one that has currently been updated. Slowly I'll work on the other ones. Anyone who would like to be a member of any of the blogs leave a comment - Madam Grizzly ?
A new blog in the offering will be - Krazy Kelvin's Auction / Fleamarket Blog. I will work on details over the next few days and........! It was an idea that just happened to pop into my head for some reason or other so I might as well pick up the ball and run with it and see where it takes me. A couple of the other blogs I might place in recess for a while, so don't be surprised if they disappear.
Take care all........have a look at my items for sale on Zillion. Click on community and there is a link there where you put in the members name. Mine......krazykelvin (one word)

Kia Ora, My Zilion blog is the only blog currently updated. Over the next few weeks, I will work on updating some of the others, so don't forget if you want me to look at your blogs for listing on - "Around The World In 80 Blogs" / NZ Blogs / 21 Great Blogs To Read. leave me a comment.
With the Zillion blog, everything seems on track (so far) for listing the 50 items on Friday. I have borrowed a camera from a friend to take photos of the items. I have already sorted another 50 items, but might only list 30 on Zillion and the rest on Trade Me. The 100 items haven't even made a dent in the boxes & boxes of stuff I have got, so there's a lot more to come. As I said, all items listed up to the end of the year, will have a starting bid of $1, so there's asome really great bargains to be had by all.
There's a couple of other things in the pipeline as well. One been........??? You will have to just sit on it and wait and see.
It's not the memories I have, it's the memories I leave behind !!!

Kia Ora, Where ever you are in the world, I hope all is well. Down under in NZ, life goes on, the sun still rises & sets, people still complain and I keeping adding more items to my Zillion blog. I'm getting nearer to my total of 50 items and then comes the hard part - taking photos and listing them on Zillion. It will be my first ever attempt at selling items on an auction site.
To be fair to anyone / friends anywhere who read this, I am trying to sort out how you would pay me if you wanted to bid on any of my auctions. It's all about been fair - you be fair to me and I'll be fair to you. Give me a little bit of time and I'll try and sort something else. You are welcome to leave me a comment if you have any suggestions.
In the next week or so, I'll update a few of my other blogs.

Kia Ora, I can hear you all chanting from where I sit - "why are we waiting" ? Come on, be fair, I only have a little computer and as you all know, I am just a 2 finger typist plus I have to stop now and again to scratch.
I'll be updating a lot of my blogs over the next week or two and cutting ties with certain blogs. I will also be looking for new blogs to list on the blog "around the world in 80 blogs". If you read this and want me to have a look at your blog leave a comment. Your blog must be from a country that is not currently listed. But having said that it would pay to check back because some of those blogs will be deleted.
I am also looking to link back up with other bloggers to let them be team members of my blogs if they want - Madam Grizzly ?
As you will no doubt have noticed (if you haven't, put your glasses on) a new blog in the making. It will shortly have a banner up, which will take you to the zillion site. Over the past couple of weeks I have looked at a lot of auction sites - big & small - but found myself returning to zillion to have a closer look. One thing I liked was the community forum - the mad house, where I found myself right at home (no rude comments on that please !!!)

Weeeeeee, I'm back !!! Did you miss me ? You didn't ? I can see a lot of people whose noses are growing fast !
Where have I been ? Let me just say that I have had a good rest & my batteries are fully charged, so I am going to put the pedal to the metal. If you want to come with me for a ride, you better jump in. There's room enough for everybody. Just be aware that once we starting rolling along the highway, we won't be stopping for anyone. If you want to get off, well we will slow down and then you can jump. Just be careful that when you hit the road, we don't run you over.
I would like to say a big welcome to all those visitors from the Zillion auction site. From what I have learnt from them over the past 3 or 4 days, they are a great bunch of people and their site is worth visiting. I will have banners up soon with a link to their website, but don't wait around for me to provide that. Pay them a visit now. If you don't already belong, you will have to sign up as an new member. Believe me, it's worth signing up. Would Krazy Kelvin lead you up the garden path ? Maybe I would, but I wouldn't hold your hand, because I don't know if it's clean or where it''s been. You could of been scratching yourself in places I won't mention. You will find me in the community forum where I feel right at home.... "the mad house". I have done one post entiled - "I only have a little co.....?" Hands up, how many minds are in the gutter ? Come on I can't see any hands from where I sit.
I had a look at all the other auction sites, but........Zillion was the only one in which I felt at home. The items that I will be selling will be listed on my new blog first, before I start transfer them over on to my Zillion auction site. Some of the Zillion members allow "international bidders". At the present time my items will only be available to NZ bidders. Please "bare" with me, because I get my head around everything I need to know, I will open my doors to you all.

I'm......back
Kia Ora (Hello), I know that it has been a lllooonnnggg time, but what can I say.
Some friends whose names I may reveal in time to come, have said that I am experiencing a mid-life crisis, which happens to people when they get to my age.
1. I got a # 1 haircut.
For those who are scratching their heads, a # 1 cut is near enough to been bald.
A # 0 cut means you end up with a skinhead / bald. My hair was long - way passed my shirt collar when I walked into the barbers and got a #1 cut.
2. I shaved off my beard.
It's something I do every now & again. It takes 10 years off my life, so I am told. When I have got short hair & no beard, I can walk down the main street of Auckland and friends, who have known me for years, walk straight pass without even batting an eyelid.
3. I went to get my eyes tested.
I have been told that I am short-sighted - as blind as a bat - well near enough to have to wear glasses if I want to drive. I am minus 4 - which mean’s what I see at 24 metres, other people with normal vision can see at 6 metres. Yet I can read, do work on the computer, walk around without banging into things, all without the need for glasses.
4. I am going to go for my driver’s license.
So there will be another “nut” behind the wheel out there on the roads of NZ.
5. I have placed a bid on a car.
A friend mentioned an auction website that had cars for sale, so I had a look. Guess what? I joined up and placed a bid for a “black” BMW. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. (hehe) I just hope I pass my drivers license, because if I don’t I might end up with an expensive paper-weight – well, 4 paper weights - if I win the auction. If I don't get the black one, there's a red one I have got my eye on.
6. I have given up my job.
I am unemployed !!! I felt it was time for a change, after working 5 days a week for the past 15 years, for the same company without even 1 day off sick, so I just quit. What am I going to do now ? I don't have a clue.
7. I have left the big city life behind, to live in a small country/rural town.
It's the same town where I have been living on the weekends since March. I have been going out there on the Friday night on the last bus and then getting up at 5.30am on the Monday to catch the first bus back to the city. It's dark when I get out there on the Friday night and dark when I get up to travel back to the city. It takes me 30 minutes to walk - uphill all the way - from where I get off the bus in the township to where I stay and 20 minutes to walk downhill. Every second Friday, I got a lift with the local bus driver who lives at the same place, when it was his turn to drive the last bus. Part of the way, there's no footpath, so I just followed the white lines on the side of the road. All that is now behind me.
8. Time to hit the road ?
I have thoughts of hitting the road and travelling around NZ on a working holiday. Hence my mission to get my drivers license, buy a car and travel. Stop off somewhere for a few days – work for a couple of days, see some of the sights as well and then move on to the next place. Slowly, but surely work my way around NZ over the next couple of years. Sounds like a good idea, does it not ?
9. I dumped a lot of my belongings.
I thought that if / when I am ready to hit the road,I will only want the barest amount of processions, so I dumped a lot of my stuff in a jumbo bin. It's amazing what I had managed to gather over the years.
10. It's A Fuuny Feeling
Sitting here, typing this knowing that I have no job and therefore no need to set the alarm any more to wake up early Monday morning makes me feel funny. I know that it's going to take me more than a few days to get used to the idea of doing "nothing". It was also a strange feeling walking away from what had been my place of employment the past 15 years. I was going to go home to the small country town, but decided to spend one last night in the big city and this internet cafe.
Given time, which I have a lot of now, I will update most of the other blogs, but this will do for now.
