Kia Ora (Hello), Despite been no updates for a while, a few people are still paying this blog a visit going by emails received. Yes, I know - I need my arse kicked into next week for not updating as often as I have done in the past, but..........??? I am getting there s.l.o.w.l.y.

It's getting harder to find good blogs to list on 21 21 21 Great Blogs To Read. It's interesting though to check back thru those that are listed, because a lot of them are updated quite often.

Good NZ blogs are also getting hard to find.

Around The World In 80 Blogs is gettting futher & futher out as time goes by. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before it is finally finished.

Black Friday 13th May 2005 - Who would of thought that two years down the track that I would still be blogging my little heart out (every now & again, I put it back in)

My first ever post

999."Someone Is Knocking At My Door, But Don't Worry, I Won't Let Amyone In !!!

Years ago, back in the "dark ages" when I was at school, if I had told people that one day, I would sit down at a keyboard and type details of my "memories" on to a blog site, for other people to read they would of thought that I had gone crazy. They would of not only locked me up, but thrown away the key as well. So, make the most of it - read my "posts" while you have got the chance, because I think those people in "white coats" will come knocking on my door. If fact, someone is knocking at my door now, but don't worry, I won't let them in, because I have so much to share with you ! If you have got "memories" worth sharing with other people - create your own blog site. I may be crazy, but I aren't crazy enough to share my blog site with anyone and let them take up my space. I have numbered my "posts" just to make it easy for you - to find again. Am I good or what. Plus when you tell your friends to log on and "read" my blog, you can tell them what numbers you like the most. Am I good to you or what ???Nine Nine Nine - we have 2 on board and a long way to go. At 999 I will be just a baby because I have seen a blog which would have to be one one of the biggest, if not the biggest, which had - 3835 "Posts" - a total of 328 308 words !!! I will also be "posting" a thank you, to all those friends & family not around NZ but around the world. Especially, those that have been receiving my 2 page monthly emails, as well as personal emails. We are all in this together..........I'm just the "nut" behind the wheel. Read on .......you will laugh till you cry! Love you all!!! Especially those who leave a comment, as we walk down "Memory Lane" together into.............the future Take care. My thoughts & prayers are with you all, where- ever in the world you are reading this.
Arohanui ! Kakite ! God Bless.

It's not so much the memories I have, it's the memories I leave behind

Kia Ora (Hello), Long time.........no see !!! The only blog I have updated is 21 21 21 Great Blogs To Read . I am currently working on posts for the other blogs and will update a couple of them asap - as soon as possible.

This weekend I stayed in the city as friends were passing thru late on Friday night, on their way south to a friend's tangi in Gisborne. It was good to catch up with them and hopefully it won't be a few years before I see them again. The tangi they were going to was for Henare Te Ua - a well known NZ maori radio announcer, who passed away on the 2nd of May. Over the 30 years he was an announcer, there would of been a lot of people who heard him on the radio, but who would of never of met him in person. I not only had the pleasure of meeting him but also shared a flat with him, many moons ago. I didn't attend the service they had for him at a church in the city, nor did I go with them to the tangi. I did go to an Auckland park though, called Western Springs, where there is a plaque called "Circle Of Friends". Henare's name is one of those etched into the plaque, so I said a prayer and laid some flowers for him there.

Rest In Peace Henare

Kia Ora (Hello) Why are we waiting ??? A friend keeps asking me what am I up too as he has been waiting for updates. I'm working on it...........!!! It all takes time. Just that when I get to my place in the country on the weekends, all my ideas seem to go out the window and I get lazy.

I'll be back........with updates.
